Abalone Shells - Extra Large

Abalone shells are traditional vessels used for holding smoldering herbs and incense during cleansing and purification rituals. Their natural beauty and durability make them ideal for burning sage, sweetgrass, or resins in a safe and sacred way.

To protect the shell from high heat, it's recommended to place at least 2 inches of sand or ash at the bottom before burning. Add a few dried herbs on top, ignite them briefly, then gently blow out the flame. As the smoke rises, use it to cleanse yourself, your space, or your ritual tools.

Abalone shells represent the element of water and are often used in ceremonies to bring balance to the elements—earth (herbs), fire (flame), air (smoke), and water (shell).
