Selenite is a soft gypsum gem, that clears and raises the vibration of any person, place or thing. It helps to bring calm and to help soothe emotions. It is a very protective stone. In its orange form, it will activate your sacral chakra, as it is a stone of passion, peace and sexual awakening. Selenite should not get wet as it is very fragile and may disintegrate. I enjoy using orange selenite when I am feeling stressed or like I am holding too much energy and just need a clearing as well as a boost. Sitting in meditation with this stone helps wake up my creativity.
